When I moved into our house, I set up Home Assistant and got a Sky Connect that acted as a Zigbee coordinator. But quite quickly I ran into problems. I learned several things the hard way, and after some Googling I realized that these are common recommendations:

• Use a USB 2 port, not 3
• Use a USB extension cable at least 2 meters long to reduce interference
• Use a cable for USB 2, not 3
• Use a cable that is a maximum of 5 meters long
• Place the Sky Connect as far away from other electronics as possible

If you try to follow these points, it becomes quite difficult to find a good place in the house since you need access to both power and ethernet. And on top of that, you need to be able to place your Sky Connect two meters away from your computer and other electronics. If instead you can use a Zigbee dongle that works over PoE, you only need ethernet. Much simpler. So after a bit of Googling, I found the SLZB-06. And the SLZB-06M.
